Apple’s AI system has now been registered with China’s cyberspace regulator, revealing a major local AI model partnership:

• Alibaba’s Qwen models will power Apple Intelligence • Integrated across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Vision Pro • Local AI models will replace Western model providers • The registration clears the way for a Chinese rollout • No exact public release date has been announced yet
